I began hand quilting in honor of my granddaughter Madeline. Of course that set a precedent, and the rest is history--or rather, below. The Greece quilt I made after a wonderful trip to that country. The Irish flag quilt I made for my half Irish husband. Every quilter it seems must do a patriotic quilt. And finally I took scissors to my daughter's wedding dresses, added in my own, and completed the Three Wedding Dresses quilt wall hangings. These were a real challenge because of the material.
Now I'm working on the Sullivan family genealogy quilt. After that...who knows?
